Meet
Margaret
Margaret Saltysiak brings nearly two decades of maternal and child health expertise, shaped by advanced education and personal experience. Her journey began with the birth of her son Everett, who was critically ill. Determined to provide life-saving breast milk, she became deeply invested in supporting breastfeeding mothers.
Margaret founded a mother-to-mother support group to fill the gap in resources she noticed in her community, offering education, encouragement, and a space for mothers to become the heroes of their breastfeeding journeys.
Professionally, Margaret has worked in hospitals, public health, private practice, and advocacy through task forces. As an instructor at the University of California, San Diego, she helps shape future lactation consultants. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring her services and teachings are grounded in research and contribute to the evolving field of lactation.
Above all, Margaret is dedicated to helping mothers achieve their feeding goals. Whether through exclusive breastfeeding or a blended approach, her honest and practical methods offer guidance and support, empowering mothers to navigate the beautiful journey of nurturing new life.
